The well and side of the flared bowl are painted in a sketchy style with figures on the shore by an extensive water side landscape, Tianqi period (1621-1627), diameter c. 14 cm. The saucer dish decorated with a bird in a river landscape, Wanli period (1573-1619), diameter c. 14.5 cm. The 'Swatow' dish painted with a phoenix and plants, late Ming dynasty, 16/17th century, diameter c. 15 cm.
Wear and firing defects. The bowl: Nicks and loss of glaze at the rim. The saucer dish: Minor loss of glaze at the rim. The dish: Minor loss of glaze at the rim. No repairs found with UV-light. Please contact elisabet.fellbom@auktionsverket.se for more information.
