the interior enamelled with a yellow and black bird perched on a branch entwined with tendrils issuing purple wisteria, above pink peony, framing iron red Dayazhai three character mark and Tian Di Yi Jia Chun oval seal mark, the base with Qianlong mark, 20th century, diameter c. 25 cm.

NOTE:
The mark Dayazhai (Studio of the Greater Odes) has been associated with the Dowager Empress Cixi.
