The interior painted with a pair of phoenix birds in flight amongst cloud scrolls enclosed by a ruyi band, the exterior painted with birds perched on branches of prunus, Wanli mark and period (1573-1619), diameter c. 13.5 cm.
Wear and firing defects. Minor nicks and loss of glaze. No repairs found with UV-light. One dish with a minor crack at the rim, c. 1 cm. Please contact elisabet.fellbom@auktionsverket.se for more information.
