the silver-mounting executed by Carl Fredrik Tellander (1753-1813), Jönköping, Sweden, the silver stamped C.F.T. and the Swedish hallmark, the ceramic base marked in Zhuanshu script, Shao Yongxing zhi, c. 1780, height c. 20 cm.
NOTE:
This type of teapots with Swedish silver mountings are rare. Compare with other versions at Nordiska Muséet and National museum.
Wear, minor nicks. One screw at the handle with a repair at the back of the attachment. No repairs found on the ceramic parts, with UV-light. Please contact elisabet.fellbom@auktionsverket.se for more information.
