HISTORY:
Georg Bolin was a Swedish instrument constructor, known for his guitars and pianos. The 8- to 13-string alto guitar is one of his creations. He named all his guitars unique names, as evidenced by label on the instrument. This specimen has been named “Mot Lycka”. Bolin was also a leader and teacher at the prestigious Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies school, which had a guitar building program from 1984 to 2007.
CITES permit is included. Exporting outside the EU will require an additional export permit.
The lacquer with damage, has not been completely dried in the case and has partially dissolved/fused with the textile, otherwise appears in good condition without cracks, unstrung, not fully processed.
