A LONGQUAN CELADON DISH, decorated to the centre of the interior with a impressed chrysanthemum pattern surrounded by a carved floral decoration, covered all over with a sea-green glaze, continuing over the foot rim where an unglazed ring on the base has fired to a dark orange colour, Ming dynasty, 15th century, diameter c. 29 cm.
PROVENANCE: A private collection from Southern Sweden. Purchased during the second half of the 20th century.
