Stockholms Auktionsverk Presents

The Exclusive Collection

Welcome to Stockholms Auktionshus The Exclusive Collection – a showcase of the most magnificent expressions of art and craftsmanship. This year’s catalogue is a masterpiece in itself, featuring exquisite items that reflect centuries of artistic brilliance, where each piece carries a unique story and a sense of timeless elegance.

Among the auction’s most outstanding highlights is an exceptional work by the Spanish Baroque master Jusepe de Ribera – a dramatic and emotionally powerful composition bearing the artist’s signature interplay of light and shadow and intense realism. This is a rare opportunity for collectors and connoisseurs to acquire an original by one of the 17th century’s most significant artists.

The Swedish animal and nature painter Bruno Liljefors is represented by an impressive collection of works – a whole artistic universe where foxes sneak through snowy landscapes and birds are captured mid-flight. Liljefors’ ability to combine scientific precision with poetic imagery makes his art a timeless source of fascination.

In the same spirit of artistic excellence, an original work by Marc Chagall is also presented – a vibrant and dreamlike piece in which color and form harmonize with fairy-tale motifs and the symbolism of love. This work is not only a tribute to Chagall’s visionary artistry, but also an opportunity to become part of modern art history.

Among the highlights of furniture art is a magnificent Gustavian commode signed by court cabinetmaker Lorentz Nordin – a masterpiece of marquetry with classical features and exquisite bronze details. It is accompanied by a unique mirror with blue glass, a decorative and rare element that offers a refined interplay of color, light, and reflection – both objects bearing witness to a refined interior design culture and craftsmanship of the highest level. Also notable is a pair of elegant chests of drawers that once belonged to the daughter of artist Carl Larsson, with a provenance that adds further cultural and historical weight.

For those seeking exquisite craftsmanship beyond the canvas, the auction also offers an elegant selection of silverwork. Together, these objects create a complete experience of beauty, history, and collectible value – a true tribute to the exceptional.
