On June 7, 1986, Queen took the stage at Råsunda Stadium in Solna.The concert marked the beginning of Queen: The Magic Tour—a tour that would become the band’s last. By the time it ended, more than a million people had seen Queen perform that year. The final show took place on August 9 in Knebworth Park, Stevenage, where 125,000 fans witnessed Queen’s last live performance with Freddie Mercury.

From this literally magical tour, Stockholms Auktionsverk presents a handful of photographs taken by photographer Torleif Svensson, who had the opportunity to follow the band for several months—an era that has gone down in rock history.
