Eclectic & Decorative

The Lilla Kvalitén Catalogue Is Here! Nearly 400 carefully selected lots are now on display, and as always, it’s a delightful (but meticulously curated) mix of objects on offer.
An intensely blue oil painting by Barbro Östhlin is sure to attract many interested bidders. The wintry scene by Helmer Osslund will likely find its audience. And David von Krafft’s portrait of Hans Gustaf Linroth is simply waiting for the right interior to grace.
Alongside these highlights, you’ll find works by Jenny Nyström, Björn Wessman, Otte Sköld, Anselm Schultzberg, Ian Rusth, and many more.
Among the older decorative arts are a chest of drawers by Jonas Westring, a pair of tub chairs in the manner of Ephraim Ståhl, a Louis XVI tray table, and a welcoming bathtub sofa from the 18th century.
On the design front, we present furniture by Otto Schulz, Josef Frank, Jonas Bohlin, and Poul Kjaerholm, along with a pair of chests of drawers from Axel Einar Hjorth’s modernist “Dagmar” series. The modern section also features a Janus head by Anna Petrus, bronzes by Lisa Larson, one of Wilhelm Kåge’s dragon pups, Sigvard Bernadotte’s strawberry bowl, and much, much more.
A true standout—and a masterpiece in its own right—is Bo Nordh’s pipe carved from briar root. And really, is there any other way to describe Jan Lundgren’s silver jug than as a challenge to the eye?
A warm welcome to Stockholms Auktionsverk and to Lilla Kvalitén!
