Stockholms Auktionsverk Göteborg Presents
Baltic art – A Collection: Part II

Two months ago, Stockholms Auktionsverk Göteborg took a firm grip on modern Baltic art, sharing stories of how many artists from the Baltic countries were forced to flee their homes and go into exile. Some of them came to Sweden. Here, they started anew, and many of them devoted their lives to artistic creation.
Now, Stockholms Auktionsverk Göteborg returns to the subject with Baltic Art – A Collection: Part II. This time, several works by Hermann Talvik are presented. At the end of World War II, Talvik arrived in Sweden as a refugee, and as early as 1945, he participated in the Värmland Museum’s exhibition Estonian Art. The auction also includes works by Lepo Mikko and Ella Mättik, along with a few other gems.
A warm welcome!
