ROYAL BINDING. Contemporary brown full calf, on upper cover the gilt superexlibris of queen Sophia Dorothea of Prussia, richly gilt spine in five compartments, redspeckled edges. Spine worn and rubbed, some repairs to lower and upper part.
Small 8vo. Ca 158x193 mm.
Sofia Dorothea of Prussia (1687-1757), married 1706 to Friedrich Wilhelm I of Prussia (the "Soldier King"). Their daughter Lovisa Ulrica was married to the Swedish crownprince, later King Adolf Fredrik, in 1744.
