A DOUCAI BOWL, enamelled to the exterior with a figurative scene, depicting ´The Three Stars´. The deity of longevity Shou Lao, offers the peach of immortality to a small boy, Fu represents prosperity and Lu with his ruyi is a symbol for status. They stand together with their attendants in a fenced garden with rockwork, pine and bamboo. The interior with a medallion depicting boys at play in a garden, both the rim and the medallion encircled by double lines, Chenghua mark, Kangxi period (1662-1722), diameter c. 19 cm
