Handcoloured engraved map with two cartouches, compass rose, ships, sea-beasts and other animals like a bear, fox and wolf, c. 325x505 mm. Centrefold with slight wear in the middle, some crease to the right.

Rare seachart from Kalmar to Stockholm. English edition.

Lucas Jansz (oon) Waghenaer (1533-1606) published the first printed sea-atlas "Spieghel der Zeevaerdt " 1584-85.
