Small oblong 4to (c. 180x225 mm.). (6, last leaf in the introduction missing), 62, (1) pp. 31 engraved maps (all, 1 with mended tear, 1 with small paperloss in lower margin, 1 partly loose, partly some marginal foxing or dampstaining), 8 smaller engraved illustrations in the text. Some woodcut initials and woodcut head- and tailpieces. Printed plate list at the end (Index tabularum).
Contemporary vellum, somewhat worn, manuscript title on spine, slightly warped boards, some foxing and spotting. Partly some soiling, minor foxing or marginal dampstaining, some underlinings in text. Title with small mended hole after partly erased signature dated 1662, old annotation, monogram stamp CHG in the middle of the title and on verso of last leaf. Signature on first endpaper Claes H. Grönhagen, Eka Bibliotek 1910, on last endpaper And. Bergman 1821. Pencil notes on inside of upper cover.
