Small folio (300x210 mm.). A few plates, 207 large original samples of contemporary Japanese papers.
Stitched as issued, decorative wrappers with mounted labels, preserved in original wrap-around case. One of 200 copies of the "International limited edition", with descriptive text in English and Japanese.
The samples include 106 white "washi" papers, the rest coloured: somigami (dyed papers), sukimoyogami (patterned papers), and katazomegami (stencil dyed papers). With addresses of the papermakers.
