A MOULDED DINGYAO DISH, with shallow rounded sides rising to the everted rim, the interior finely moulded with peony scrolls, covered overall with an ivory-tinted glaze, the rim with copper mount, marked with label ´Bluett & Sons, London´, Jin dynasty, (1115-1234), diameter c. 22.3 cm
PROVENANCE:
From the collection of the Principal Sture Nydell (1891-1986) and his wife, Valborg Nydell (1905-2003). The dish was purchased from ´Bluett and Sons´, 1958 in London. Earlier in the collection of Mrs Blanco White.
